The Patience & Perseverance of Planting

 

The flowers appear one by one, in preparation for the food to come. Their beauty is seen for a few days before they fall away to make way for fruit

Food appears literally right in front of your face – food grown through care, energy, time, sun, rain, dedication and love.

the tabasco plant i bought seemed not to be doing anything much after watering, sunshine, compost tea ans foliar food…yet it was growing though it took some time. Two weeks later, new leaves sprouted on the stem and a flower appeared. It was growing all along. Another reminder of the patience and perseverance in the process of gardening.

 

The tallest and most leafy growing of the sweet pepper plants in the garden. These two are staked and growing well on their own and as a pair. Plants, like us, respond to water almost instantly
