Growing Sunflowers

cropped-img_81411.jpg
On April 5th, ten sunflower seeds were sown in pots, to add some more colour to the garden, which has mostly fruit and veggie plants, and seasoning herbs. As seedlings, they were kept in a mostly shaded area on the balcony, and as soon as they started to become a little lanky, i realised from online research that it was time to set them in the sun outside so they could also benefit from as much rainwater and direct sunlight as possible. This boosted the overall growth of the stems and posture of the plant in a matter of days.
